Support Our Pakistan Emergency Appeal

Thousands of families have been affected by recent floods in Pakistan. More than 800 people have lost their lives and many more are fighting for their lives. Those who have survived, have lost everything to deadly floods. More rains are expected to continue in the coming days, and the situation on ground is getting worse day by day. People affected by this disaster urgently need help, including shelter, food, clean water and medical care.

Local teams of United Muslims are working on the ground across Pakistan to support the families in need. Donate to our Pakistan crisis appeal and help those who have suffered huge losses. No one should have to face a disaster alone. Be the hope they truly need.

Together, we can stop flood from stealing lives in Pakistan

This year’s monsoon in Pakistan has been even more deadly for people who had not fully recovered from the floods in 2022 and 2023. Since the beginning of July, the non-stop rains have led to floods that caused death and destruction. Many people have died, and those who survived are left without their homes, animals, shops, and belongings. Those who once slept in the comfort of their homes are now sitting on rubble under the open sky. The rains are not stopping, so we must act fast and offer a helping hand to the people in need.

Why your donation matters for the people of Pakistan

Floods and other natural disasters destroy homes and take many lives. They also bring the challenges of rebuilding, widespread disease, poverty, and the grief of lost loved ones. Your donations in this emergency situation are a lifeline for those who have barely survived this catastrophe. They need safe shelter and hot meals. Clean water supplies have also been disrupted in almost all flooded areas, and consuming contaminated water could take more lives.

When you support our Pakistan emergency appeal, you give the hope of life to people who would otherwise have none. They are starting from scratch and need our help to rebuild their lives.

How can you help people in Pakistan

The flood victims of Pakistan need all the help they can get. You can donate your Zakat and Sadaqah to United Muslims’ crisis appeal for Pakistan and help us deliver hot meals, food parcels, medical aid, and clean water to people who have been cut off from other parts of the country. You can also donate your Aqiqah money to our Pakistan emergency food appeal; we will sacrifice animals in our shelters and distribute fresh meat to affected families. A regular monthly donation can help us continue emergency relief work and support people in rebuilding when the situation improves. Any amount, big or small, can save a life and bring light in these dark times.

You see the believers as regards their being merciful among themselves and showing love among themselves and being kind, resembling one body, so that, if any part of the body is not well then the whole body shares the sleeplessness (insomnia) and fever with it.

– Sahih al-Bukhari 6011

How United Muslims is helping in Pakistan with your donations

Providing Hot Meals in Crisis

In most of the flooded areas, houses, shops, and infrastructure have been swept away. United Muslims is using your donations to provide displaced families with hot meals. Our temporary kitchens run throughout the day to cook nutritious meals, and your support directly feeds the elderly, infants, and children.

Continuous flooding and rains have disrupted all sources of clean water. We are delivering filtered, clean water to these areas by boat. The consumption of contaminated water would only claim more lives. Your donations are shielding people from sickness and possible deaths.

In areas where houses are affected but still standing, we are delivering food parcels and essential supplies. People have already been living under poverty in most of the affected areas, and now the floods have claimed whatever they had. Your donations are putting food on these empty tables.

Flood affectees are in urgent need of shelter. With pouring rains from above and mud and wreckage on the ground, people have nowhere to go. We are working to build as many temporary shelters as possible to offer some relief to those in need.

Floods are known to spread diseases. Malaria, dengue, and water-borne illnesses are already affecting the flood survivors. Along with hot meals and clean water, we are distributing hygiene kits to help people protect themselves.

We are helping people rebuild their livelihoods by restoring the shops, buying new food and vegetable carts and offering financial help. It is not easy to rebuild after such a disaster, but your donations are helping them start.
