Our Projects
Discover how United Muslims is making a difference through impactful projects that bring relief, hope, and lasting change to communities in need.
United Muslims works with the Al Walidayn Centre to run a Girls Rescue Centre in Kwale County, Kenya. The centre is home to more than 100 girls at a time. Most of them are orphans or survivors of abuse and other painful experiences. Within this nurturing environment, the girls receive care, education, and emotional support. The centre has clean bedrooms, classrooms, art rooms, and a big courtyard with a football field. The girls study, play, and learn new skills like sewing, painting, and hairdressing, while dedicated teachers and counsellors guide them toward healing, confidence, and hope for a brighter future.
Our goal is to give these girls safety, education, and a chance for a better future. Along with school lessons, they attend madrassa to learn the Quran and Islamic values. They also have access to healthcare and a local academy. Many of the girls come from families affected by AIDS and poverty. With your support, they are now building brighter lives. Your donations help cover housing, meals, and education. Through child sponsorship, you can help a young girl follow her dreams and shape a stronger future.

Every Ramadan, United Muslims hosts grand iftars for underprivileged and struggling communities around the world. These gatherings are held in open spaces so more people can join. Anyone passing by is welcome to sit down and enjoy a spread of warm dishes, dates, fruits, and other nourishing foods. Each family leaves not only with full stomachs but also with a box of essential supplies including rice, oil, lentils, sugar, and more; enough to feed a family of five for the entire month of Ramadan. Aqiqah meat donated during Ramadan is cooked and served at these iftars or given with food packs so families can cook at home.
In our orphanages and rescue centres, children gather every evening to break their fast and learn the true spirit of Ramadan. In places hit by disaster or conflict, our iftars bring comfort, peace and unity. They give people moments of hope and faith in the middle of hardship. Your Fidya, Kaffarah and Sadaqah donations make all this possible and help us feed fasting Muslims around the world.

Sweet Care Home, our orphanage in Pakistan, is a safe and loving home for orphan boys. It continues to grow each year, giving shelter, education and care to children who have lost their families. The centre provides free meals, Islamic teachings and a strong sense of belonging. Along with regular schooling, we focus on technical education to help the boys build practical skills. Inside the centre, you will find them recording podcasts, praying together and learning digital skills. From a young age, they are guided to become confident, skilled and ready for the world.
Our education and child sponsorship programme is changing lives every day. Professional teachers and volunteers train the boys in social media, digital marketing, public speaking and creative learning. These activities spark curiosity and help them discover what they love. Living and learning together gives them not only knowledge but also joy, purpose and hope for a better future.

As advocates for education and opportunity, United Muslims, in partnership with the Al Walidayn Centre, has established an integrated academy in Kwale County, Kenya. The academy provides quality education to children from our girls’ and boys’ rescue centres, as well as to those from the surrounding community. In a region where access to good schools is limited and learning opportunities are often scarce, this academy is creating lasting, positive change. Nearby schools were once poorly equipped, expensive, or mismanaged; leaving many children without hope for a brighter future.
The academy offers free, high-quality education to children who otherwise could not afford it. Many of these students have faced neglect, abandonment and abuse. Here, they sit side by side with other children, learning, growing and dreaming of a better life. Since opening in 2020, the academy has become a place of hope and renewal, helping vulnerable children break the cycle of poverty and build brighter, safer futures for themselves and their communities.

Our food drive brings food, clean water and comfort to the poorest communities. We prepare each food box with care so it can feed a family of five for a full month. Every box includes sugar, flour, lentils, oil, tea bags, fruits and spices — the essentials every household needs. During Ramadan, we add dates, dry fruits and juices to make the boxes more special. These boxes are delivered to widows, labourers and families in remote or war-affected areas who struggle to find food.
We also set up mobile kitchens that travel from place to place to cook and serve hot meals on the spot. Fresh halal meat is distributed among families, ensuring that everyone has something to eat. Our goal is simple: to feed as many people as we can and bring relief where hunger is greatest. Aqiqah, Sadaqah and Zakat donations keep our food drive alive and allow us to reach more people in need every day.
